Where can I find a cross reference guide for oil, fuel, air, and hydraulic filters?

Has anyone ever found a site that lists the OEM filter numbers for their tractors and machinery?

It sure would be nice to take advantage of sales I recieve in the mail.

What brand of filter do you want to buy? Go to thier website. Most have a cross over.

I have the complete cross-reference books - but cannot possilbly transfer them all to you (the books are big).

If you have some specific questions, for specific tractors - I'll try to answer.

If you can get friendly with a major autoparts store - e.g. NAPA, they get new cross-reference books every year - and often throw out the older books. I gather the older books whenever, and whereever I can - including filters, belts, hoses, bearings, relays, universal joints, etc.

I think Wix is the OEM for most brands under the AGCO umbrella. I think they also make them for Carquest, as well as a few other auto part houses. I've got a case of Purolators for my Oliver 1600, but after doing a good deal of looking, comparing, and taking notes, They'll work just fine on our Massey 285 as well. I know in the past we have put filters for one onto the other because it's what we had and it never gave us a problem.

If the brake lines weren't in the way on my 88 F150 I'd be able to use the same filters on that as well. They have the same basic information, just the ones for my Oliver are taller. They're also used on the larger Ford trucks though, so I see no problem using it on the smaller engine if I could get it to fit....

I use the site from Wix. They do some cross references, and they give all the specs for their filters.

CNH and DEERE have parts lookup sites.

You can look up automotive filters at Rock Auto.

WIX filters has a lookup and cross reference for automotive, heavy duty, and off-road.

I don't know about CAT and AGCO.
