Does anyone know where I can get a Kwik-way valve grinding wheel part # 010-0275-00. This is a 2.75" depressed center wheel which fits the stem grinding side of an old model Kwikway valve grinder. I can not find one like this in MSC, Grainger, or from Kwikway or Goodson. Any help appreciated!

Al,
Thanks for the reply. I did try MSC, which is a large industrial supplier. They have an extensive selection of grinding wheels but not what I need. Goodsons had a 3" depressed center wheel, but the inside hole was way too small. I had a machinist look at it, and he said it would be pretty tough to enlarge the center hole, since the stone is so hard. If I dressed the 3" wheel to 2.75", it takes away too much of the thickness of the wheel. If you have any suggestions of other suppliers that might have something, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Jack.

Hi Jack, The last time you asked this question I suggested an industrial machine tool supplier. There wasn't one among the places you tried, so I was wondering if you overlooked that option. Because Kwik-Way wasn't able to help you, that's your best chance. I'm not talking about the kind that sells light fixtures, plumbing fittings, and gardening tools, and also happens to sell drills and end mills. Find someone in your area, on the internet, or in a catalog, that SPECIALIZES in milling cutters, boring heads, carbide inserts, grinding wheels, etc. If an exact duplicate is not available they will either have a stone that will work, or one that is close enough to be dressed to the dimensions and configuration you require. Good luck...Al English
