Pinon seal replacement

I have a Dodge D800 w/two speed axle and need to remove yoke to get to seal. Have not been able to turn nut (1 3/4"),is it left hand or RH thread? any ideals on getting it loose? Thanks.

Before removing the nut, Mark the position and tighten to the exact same spot on replacing nut. I don't know about this particular application as to whether it has a crush sleeve but better to take this precaution.

3/4 drive and a 5 foot pipe. Those things are tight. If that don't do it get a longer pipe. I just put together a Ford 8.8 rear end and I had to use a long pipe just to get the crush sleve crushed. It had to have been 500 foot pounds.

I've never seen a truck axle pinion nut that isn't standard RH thread. (Not that that means anything!)

A 3/4" impact wrench will make quick work of spinning it off.
