Local store is replacing all(25-30)surface mounted double bulb 8ft fixtures in the store w/recessed lighting. These use the single pin bulbs.Believe I could scrounge a couple/four for my shop if I wanted to.Question is,Do I want to?Could they be 220 or likely to be 110?They are in good shape, store is being remodeled w/dropped ceiling.

Check on ballast to see what voltage they are. If 277v you can operate them on 230v but with small decrease in light output... If you can get them for free I"d grab whatever i could,You can always sell the rest..

If are not T8 fixtures, leave them in the store.

they maybe 120 volt or 347 volt you'll have to check also if they are t12 or t8 t12 is non energy eff, poor light output
t8 is energy eff, high light output
