Terrible time wearing out blades. The grass is sticking inside the deck real bad and wearing the blades paper thin only after mowing once or twice.
I have to remove the deck, remove all of the built up grass (tough job) then change the blades. I only mow late afternoon when the grass is dry but it still stops up the mower. My ground is kind of sandy and I have some clover but the rest is native grass. I use to have mulching blades and thought that may be the problem so I removed the mulching kit and installed standard blades, which helped but not much. The blades are wearing out on the back side where they drag on the build up inside the mower.

Any suggestions?

Pam is a versitile product, and it works for quite a while. I would check the deck for proper adjustment. I have the same size deck, and when purchased cut very poorly. After studing the owners manual I took my time and reset all the adjustments from scratch; now the mower cuts easily in heavy grass. This may not be part of your problem, but all you have to lose is time.
