OT/source for obsolete faucets

I have one of those old cast iron sinks with the drain area cast in one side, in my basement. I'm sure it once was kitchen sink but we use it as a laundry sink. I bet its 60 -70 yrs old? The problem is the seat are in the hot side of the faucet is eroded and a new wssher no longer seats and there is not enought to reface the seat. the faucet comes out of the backsplash horizontally, not up like modern faucets. Its 8 inch centers and connects to pipes via 1/2 pipe thread using weird connectors that are part of the faucet. It would be great to find a faucet like this so I could keep the old sink, but I haven't had much luck. Any one know of somewhere to get afaucet like this?

Central Brass makes a whole line of faucets like this. In these the seats are replacable. I don't know about yours.
If you buy one of these you may be able to just replace the front part and leave the plumbing intact.

Look at the seat. If the center hole is square, pentagonal or hex, it screws out and can be replaced. Seats may have been almost standardized, of course after 60 years under water it may not come out easily.

try W.A. Sexauer in New York, they have parts for about any old faucet I've run into, they also sell new stuff. If you're sure you have to replace the Faucet there is another source, a catalog "Rennovators" that sells old hardware and they recently started doing plumbing stuff to

There are many available new. The problem is the price. I've got several. If you don't mind something modern-looking, there are several Chinese and Indian-made 8" faucets for sinks in the $40 price range. For a real fancy, antique repro. - if you want to spend $230 - you can get one made for the sink backsplash - made by Heritage. Also, Kingston Brass makes a cheaper repro - with and adjustable backsplash mount of 3 1/2" to 8 1/2" for $80. Here's photos of the Kingston Brass that sell in the $70 - $80 range.

Check with your local whole sale plumbing supply house, you just described a restaurant faucet used all over the country.

find a hardware store in the old part of town if there a lot of them still in use they carry parts or replacement. i found out by chance helping my kid one day the guy had all kind of parts for old houses plumbing good luck.
