Suck a little veg oil into it before you put it up for the winter.

When pressure washer has been sitting a while take WD40 spray into water intake pull engine over a few times and it will likely clear up your problem. If you still have the problem, take pump apart and lube, works for me every time. In the fall I run the fuel empty and store in the basement. I have one of those systems that are a throw away that I have been using for the last six years and it gets a work out during spring – fall.

sometimes (quite often) they freeze up from being out in the garage.

Take it in the house for a day then go try it.

I have one that does that also, it has lost it's prime, I usually have to diconnect the pressure hose then turn on the water and start it. When you get pressure up to that point reconnect the washer hose and remove nozzel and turn it on again until you get pressure up then put your nozzel back on. This works every time for me. I use mine a bout four times a year and this has happened about three time in two years.
