Where can you buy new log chain that is made in the USA? Every farm store I've seen so far has log chain, but it's made in China, Taiwan, etc.

I want to buy new chain made in the USA for use on the farm, plus the couplers to put on the hooks (all to be USA made too). I want to know it won't be breaking with light loads and will last a life-time like my dad's.

Thanks in advance for the information.

We get em at Fastenal and they are real grade 80 chain and hooks. they may have a website. Ive never broke, or stretched one of theirs.

I have broke and stretched my last harpor freight chain, they all went out with the last load of scrap. they are junk like the rest of hf's junk.

I got some at the local Deere dealership a few years ago. Its really good chain, and stamped made in USA.

I've bought some from this trucking supply place. Their prices seem to be comparable to what farm stores charge for the cheaper chain but shipping chain isn't cheap. I got a 25' long 5/8" grade 80 chain from them a couple years ago and the neighbor's haven't been able to break it yet (I've seen it stop a D6 dead in it's tracks).

Our local Trailmobile dealer sells Columbus-Mckinnon chain cheaper than the cheap chain in the farm supply stores.
