If there's an answer, someone here'll have it! I have a home type Bunn coffee pot. It'll make a pot in 3 minutes of less - almost like a cafine IV. Looks like several years of heat have baked a plastic part. Anyone know a supplier for parts to a *home style* Bunn? I hate to scrap a $100 coffee pot because I can't get a $5 piece of plastic! Thanks for any info!

Thanks for the info, guys!!!
I've learned that if there's an answer to *anything*, someone on this board knows it and will answer!
I first became "aquanted" with these coffee pots on a job site years ago - those babies made coffee 24/7 for 5 years that *I* know of - I'd hate to guess how many gallons of coffee they've made!!
Apparently the heat of the water tank caused the plastic that contacted it to fry - guess we need to start drinking more coffee here, huh? Just to give it a dose of cold water once in a while....Thanks again!!!

I can help on this one

My coffee pot has a label that reads something like "Have date code ready and call:

1-800-352-2866 USA
1-800-263-2256 Canada

The date code is on the bottom of the unit.

I agree on the best made - I can take 3 minutes before I get a cup!

Good luck,

Bill

My mom went through 3, Bunn's. The company was good at replacing them just box them up send them back. But for an older person who can't hardly get out its a PITA! being she lives alone. The last one didn't last a mo. Ive have a Mr.Coffee for over 10 years and didn't coast no 100.oo dollars. So you know what she is now uses. I wonder made in USA ? ?

That is weird, my mom has a Bunn that is probably 10-15 years old, the only thing she does is run the rod up through it to clean it every few months, works great, we have one here at work that sometimes makes as much as 4-6 pots a day at times, but most of the time 1-2 a day.

Call the factory, normally they will send you the parts you need to fix it, heard that sometimes they will send n/c, don't know if that is true. The phone number is 217-529-6601
Address is Bunn-o-matic 1212 Adliai Stevenson Drive Springfield, IL 62703. New ones are closer to 200.00 now.

Bud, from another NC coffee drinker, you can"t beat those Bunn"s. I have one we"ve had for 8/10 years and also bought another to keep in the RV. It burned out in 9 months. I called the 800 number on the back and they said to ship it to them and they would replace it free. I got my new bunn and still use the old one. I"d give them a call, later, Nat

Bud try these people.

If they don't pan out then google for other suppliers of Bunn parts.
