Dear Mr. Ande; permit me to introduce. I am MISTER JOHN BHUTTO, former ministerof agriculture of Nigeria. Because of change in admins, I am out of govtne. I am now importing farm equip form America. Currently I like one or two items to fill a 40 feet container. I would love to buy your stand for $3200 dollars American. I have a dealer in St louis, Misouri, who picks the stuff up for me. He often owes me money, but now I owe him 3000 dollars american. I will send to you money order for 6200 dollars American. if you will send to him 3000 dollars American, by Western uNion, and keep 3200 dollars american for your self: he will call you and pick up that stand. This is no scam. let me no.

Lets see here for that kind of money i should start building them off the set that i have as a pattern and include freight heck i could pay a machine shop to make the vee wheels add roller bearings and a remote control motors to move it foward and back up and down side to side for that kind of money . I bought out 90% of all I H dealer tools including the splitting stand complete for under 500 bucks and it two truck loads to haul it all out .

When I first read this post, I thought for sure that the $3,200 figure had to be a mis-print. Guess it wasn't. Tractor Vet, do you want a partner?

Maybe i should start maken them up like the second set i built as for a home brewed set they work real nice and are fully adjustable and with additonal brackets that i made up ya can split a A -140 or even a cub low boy or a 1586 fully loaded i had total time in maken them about two days that included chasen after stuff . Now i did not paint them up because i was in a hurry to split a tractor and figured that i would do that later .

How you have come across so many splitting stands to sell. I have a set that I got from dealership that went under. They were trying to release the building/property and I paid scrap price for them and some other "junk". They are nice and in good shape but not worth anywhere near that to me! I will gladly pay you a large finders fee if you can find people willing to pay $3000.00 plus for them.

Hello Little Curious,I owned 3 dealerships at one time, we moved what we called over flow to one of our older locations and sold off many pieces of shop tools, just to give you a idea, each location had around 40,000.00 of special tools,so it does count up.I just decided to sell this last one I had and will not have any trouble selling the stand for this price. These stands are made to tear down tractors and have the brackets with them to do several models. Not sure what you have, but these I beleive were made by Qwatonna Tool Company.Good luck selling what you have.I will contact you when I sell these if I have other buyers

Well the set i have comes with a four pice track and all brackets to split all framed and unframed I H tractor plus others all the way up to the 4586 plus the rear stands . And yes mine were Made by the OVER PRICE TOOL CO. (OTC) . I also have all the special service tools that go way back. The deal was the auctioneer said that he was selling the wall that had the peg board with ALL the service tools and being that i am a smart ARRS i asked him if that included the peg board and all the hooks , he said he was selling everything but the cement block i placed two bid and got it . There was only two items that i did not bid on and now wished i had , one was the hyd sleeve puller with ALL the slugs and the other was the engine stand and all the mounting plates. and this included the OTC flow rater now i have been tryen to get the analizer for it so i can work on the PFC systems and one day I'll get one. Now the haul from this former I H dealer took two days and two trip to haul it all out with a one ton flat bed loaded to the top of the cab and only enough room inside for me all tis for under 500 bucks . Now as for building spliting stands this is not rocket sicence as before i had this set i built three other sets that work well even on a large tractor like a 1466 and roll nice and are fully adjustable and realy have no time in them maken up adapters for stuff that needed spliten and would not mate up did not take long to fab up and once made ya always have then . Now as far as most of the guys on here they may split one or two tractors and would be willing to lay out 4-500 for a good set of stands but not even me would be willing to pay that .

I would say you have a gold mine of tools! When we sold off most of the Case IH tools they went for Big Money! And I mean Big,but mine was not a forced auction,I closed this store in 1998,in a small town to hard to make Case IH standards, hey times change, but kept the tools and store in tack till 2 years ago, and when the tools were sold it was something else. You cant imagine what the manuels went for!But back to your comment on the end of you reply, you said most would not pay 500bucks,well not saying I will sell it here and you know if I dont its ok,but I have sold allot of things in my time and people have said this before and guess what,,I got my price!ToShay!
