I would like for the Super bowl to be on Saturday, because I have to work on Monday like most of the other working people do. How can we make this happen?. I have not seen the end of a super bowl game in years. I would think that even greedy TV execs would want it to be on Saturday too so that more people would stay up and watch the whole game. Whadda think????

ha!! i'm finally retired and don't have to worry about the monday mornin' after super bowl hangover anymore!!! i'd go along with saturday, but til then i guess you'll have to pay your dues like i did and wait til you retire.

i'm from N.W. Ind. originally, grew up on "da bears"...but being a loyal "hoosier" i kinda lean toward the colts. but either way i can't lose!! best super bowl match up in history for this "region rat"! GO....WHOEVER!!

I know this is changing the subject,but, since this appears to be a vintage/antique tool site,may I ask a question regarding a combination wrench I have?
The wrench has a MH in a circle and the word Ford in script writing. Can someone help me with the company that made my wrench and the approx. date of it?

Phyllis, I don't remember the manufacturers name (MH) but if you post it on this site under your own heading, I am sure someone remembers. I can however shed a little light on your wrench. I believe what you have is the Sparkplug & CylinderHead Wrench part # A 17017 made 1928 to 1931 for the Model A. Prior to 1928 it was part # T 2335. The boxed end was closed like a socket.

What I have found out is that there were many makers of Ford tools, including K.R.Wilson and Western Wilson Inc.

The game starts at 6 pm est. that will be 5 pm here. Just go to bed late. We always go to a Super Bowl party with friends. Lots of food, giant tv and some drink. The drinking is optional and usually only a few do. We all like the commercials too. Its a good time. I am sure that if the game was on a Saturday, that those that drink would probably get carried away.(speaking for our crowd).

Colts will win!

If you get all SB fans to put pressure on the execs that might get them to consider it. But they've got some kind of reason for playing on Sunday,who knows,probably money involved. Personally I don't really care,cause I am busy doing things that need to be done. Just think about all the beer drinking going on before,during and after the game. Playing the game on Saturday would give the beer drinkers time to sleep it off.

i herd somewhere that more people play hooky from work the day after the super bowl than any other day. i believe there is a website deticated to the day after super trying to declare it a holiday. maybe we should all go and sign his partition to ger'er'done.
