Hey guys, I got an old Ben Pearson 4post muffler shop style lift, that has been leakin hyd oil for some time, and I took it apart to fix it.It seems there is a small seal that goes around the plunger on the valve, and it is leakin down after it is turned off.The seal is about the size of a dime in dia, and has about a 1/4 inch hole in the center of it, any ideas on where the heck I can find one?Also the electric switch is also bad, it is a momentary push on switch 220v, 15 amp, I was wonderin if I could use a push button starter switch 12v?It is rated at 15 amps, and is momentary just like the other one?Just checkin?Thanks in advance for any help and GOD blesss

I would give McMaster-Carr a shot, they always have tons of everything. They probably have the switch and the seal that you are looking for.

Just type in "rubber washer" in the search box on the left side, and you can drill down the choices from there.

Is there a number on it?

Most bearing shops carry seals.

Also try Baum Hydraulics in Omaha. They have a web page and list two or three brand of seals and lots of hydraulic seals in their catalog.

You might try "Grainger", if you have one near you. Those guys have almost everything in that catalog of theirs. Oh, yea, they are usually wholesale only, so you may have to fill out a re-sale form or something. Anyway, Good Luck ! Jim

Jim, Grainger only sells to businesses. If you have a "business" of some kind, you can still buy and pay the sales tax for personal use. I've been a customer for many years. No idea what is needed now to be accepted.
