Randy, You can built a good one cheaply. Use 1/2 or 3/4 allthread, depending on sleeve size. I used 3/4 for my Case LA, 4 5/8 bore. For the top, one of the threepoint drawbars like TSC sells for $20 is very strong nad has a lot of holes for spacing out. Set it on small blocks, drop the allthread through it and hold the allthread up with a flat washer and nut. For the bottom, you will have to find or make something to fit. I found a three point stabilizer bar mount at TSC for about $8. I burned a 1" hole in it for the allthread and it worked well. Could also probably use a short piece of angle, basically what that mount is, but the mount is pretty thick - 3/8" I think. Make sure your bottom part clears webs in the block, cam, etc. Put a nut below it and tighten the top nut to pull. Mine were very tight, I found that they pulled best if I put a bind on the puller, then rapped the side of the block with a 2 1/2 lb hammer. I could watch the sleeve walk up as I vibrated the block. I have pulled 8 sleeves with this with no damage. Four of them were 4 3/4 bore and were thin. Good luck. RobertTX
