Amazing Feri submersible well water pump. Found this on ebay. Uses air, is plastic and cheep. Does anyone know anything about it?

Check the CFM required to run it. They use allot of air to pump a little water.

Uses air, like from compressor? Looks like it would be a lot of trouble. Why not electric well pump, submersible?

my inlaws had a air operated jet pump in the late 20's to about the 1950 it made to operate on the farm when the power failed or you did not have power on your farm you put a gas engine on the air compressor the air tank was 3ft.x 6ft. so it would pump a long time on a tank of air the cows would drink then the pump would go. it was noise as it worked with a air piston to the water piston to feed the jet. the man whom made them repaired it free till he died (at 80 )the were good in there days
