I have been using Fluke meters for year and have found that all there products are very reliable. I presently own a Fluke 23 and a thermometer never had a problem. I am retired from the USAF and we used them for the 14 yrs for aircraft work. Many a Fluke meters have been dropped off the top of a F-15 and F-16 jets and are still working today. I say if it says Fluke and it works good buy it!

Hey Gary, Are you in Muleshoe Texas? I pass through there whenever I go to visit my wife in Clovis NM. I'm in Abilene now, she has her own business and house that's almost paid for and doesn't want to move. I spent a few years stationed at Clovis on two different occasions. I don't mind the area, I like the Panhandle, but couldn't make myself return there after my year in Korea.

I used one for 15 years and then it needed batteries. Nothing else ever failed.

Can't get any better than Fluke for the money.I have bought 23's for all six of my maintenance guys and they see some abuse dropped from manlifts and keep on tickin. A 23 does AC/DC volts, DC amps, Ohms, Diode check and I'd have to look at what else. Very reliable I've been in Industrial maintenance for 35 years and that's one thing you can count on. Make sure you visit their website because there are tons of different connectors and cables for them and cases. They don't come any better. My two cents. CT

Flukes are top of the line in multimeter's the 23 is an older model but if still functional it is a good meter.

I will try to provide a link where you should be able to get specs. and download the manual if you need it.

Hard to go wrong with a fluke meter. I have an old 73 that I have been using heavially for 13 years or so, still works great and is in calibration.
