Does anybody know of a good diesel compresion tester? I got a Sears gift card for Christmas, but the stores don't carry them. Web site has Mighty Vac for gas but not Diesel. Looking for one for a Ford diesel. Any info and guideance is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
Sears does carry a diesel compression tester but unless you are near a large store with a big tool department you won't find it. You can go to the web site and order it and then pick it up in the store at the pick up center, much better than having to deal with the sales people in the store anyway in my opinion.
Go to www.sears.com and find the search box and enter this number: 00999853000
That is the Sears number for their DCT and it runs 105 bucks. Not sure if it has the Ford adapter or not though. I found a good used one from a retired mechanic locally for about half that and it's a Mac Tools and I have been very pleased with it. Had Sears had one in stock, I would have bought theirs but I ran across the Mac the next day so I just bought it since I needed it right away.
