Looking for a Spark Arresting Muffler Kit for 55V-TY9691. The price and how to get parts.

I recently had a little accident with a John Deere 55V chainsaw. A tree fell on the saw and smashed it to bits. However, the engine still runs great. So, I am looking for another 55V which does not run but is basically intact otherwise.

Good Day Russ:

I don't have your part but I do have a question.
I recently lost an older John Deere Chairsaw in a break-in and I'm looking for info on older saws.

The saw I lost was about 10-12 years old with a 20" bar. do you know where I could find some info on such a saw?

I was hoping for a picture and possibly replacement cost?

I realize this is a long shot but "You won't know if you don't ask"?

Thanx

Steve, try an Echo dealer, or another long established dealer who may have some used saw parts around. I`m almost positive that saw was made by Echo.
