Ebay seems to be running 15 minutes to 30 minutes late with E-mail when I bid or get over bid today. Couple of days ago I bid and got an item, Ebay never did confirm my bid. So if your watching something, watch the item, don't rely on getting E-mail. Oh yea, good luck on finding that tractor for Xmas.

Sometimes next day for me and I live three miles from their HQ. PayPal is there too. I don't know if their computers are there or not. There's many large buildings on about 20+ acres. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would. Maybe some day.

I have had that problem in the past and had some items that ended tonight. Seemed to be a little slow but has caught up now.

This time of year seems like they get real busy. Will taper off in about a week until the Xmas day when they have a free listing day.

I have a ford pickup I will be listing and another batch of paper and that will probably be it until the listing sale for me.

Thanks for the come backs. Short distance E-mail and ISP is fine. Could be internet slow down..I am guessing over load on E-bay mail server. Bidding and paypal paying were instatanius (sp?) just E-mail from Ebay (paypal was OK)to me was delayed.

I just picked up a Raytek non contact thermometer about 2 hours ago. It was regularily quick for me. About 45 seconds after I bought it I had mail. Are you sure it isn't your ISP?

Glad to see you got a Raytek! I think you will like it. It is the kind of tool you come up with all sorts of uses for. Finding an "on" relay is a good idea. I bet there will be quite a temp diferental after it sits a while.
The tip you were given about shiney surfaces is accurate. They do not like reflective surfaces but other than that they work swell. I have used mine a number of times to check electrical connections. They really heat up when they loosen! Shoot the breakers in your electrical panel. You will be suprised how warm the get under load.
