OT:94 Jeep 2.5 Manifold Swap cost? How hard to do

My nephew has a Wrangler with a bad manifold on 2.5 4 cyl. He's basically broke and I'd like to help him out. These must have a high failure because there are a ton available on the net. I also had to change the one in my wife's cherokee with a 4.0, 6 cyl. He was quoted a price of about $400 to have it done. I can do it but wondered if there are any secrets. He'd have to come from out of town and I don't want him stranded. I can get a manif. for less than $100.

Don�t hold me to this but the intake should be on the passer side and the exh. Manifold on the drivers side. (GM style) This izz un like yer 4.0 witch had the 2 manifolds on the same side stacked on top of each other. Iffin the 2.5 izz a Jeep AMC style set up then it would be zackly like the 4.0. So the question izz what side of the head izz the manifold on.
Should be much easer to change out as long as the bolts cooperate I am not aware of these manifold being a problem child like the 4.0 izz. Find out witch side the manifold izz on to find the anwser
