1982 F-150 for $900

guy has 82 F-150 with flatbed for $900. he says a valve caused engine to seize, and wont run. should i give full $ or offer 650 and see what he says, he thinks the truck is worth 200 and faltbed worth 700. i think truck- 100 flatbed 650. thanks for help.

If you can not do the work your self be ware. The last old ford I sold went to old Mexico. Had 50 w in the motor.

If the flatbed is worth $700 then he should remove it from the truck and sell it seperately. The rest of the truck, in its present condition, is nothing more than scrap iron.

If a vavle caused it to lock up then the engine is now a big boat achor. That said to me and in my area its worth around $300-400 tops maybe a little more if the flat bed is a real good one

Hard to price someone elses stuff... he gave you a starting point. sounds like hes already convinced on what his stuff is worth. wolnt hurt to offer.. worst he can do is say no.. if time goes by and noone offers better he may call you back. if you want it bad enough then whats another 100 or 2?
