I am seriously looking at getting one. I could have used it 3 times this summer.
There was mention of it on the tool board in the last couple of days.

Neat idea. Please tell us how it works. I like the idea of using iron pipe so additional sections can be added. This would be especially useful in sandy soil where obstructions are not much of a problem. It would likely work well in clay. The excavator on my homesite used rip-rap for topsoil. 12-24 inch material. Might not work here, but little does.
