I emailed my neibor who was dumping his oil on the ground near my well. I offerd to take his used oil, antifreez or any thing else that should not end up in the ground water and signed it with mine the kids and the wifes name. I sent him a link to this site and today he came over with two gallons of used oil! He even stuck around while I changed the old ladys tranny fluid. Seem like the exchange made us better neibors. Thanks for all the advise.

Glad to hear it!! I think I'd rather have a neighbor donate his used oil to me vs. dumping it on the ground any day, even if it means always stopping by with a pail or 2...

BTW- that reminds me I should change the fluid in the over/under on our 1855...

Well., you may be able to take it to the local oil change place for free, the place near me has a waste oil burner, free heat for them.

And you have our thanks. "Pollution is a resource that is out of place". Buckminster Fuller.
