Just run a heavy bead of weld from top to bottom inside of the sleeve and let cool. The sleeve should drop out.

Jose; The puller that I have is mfg by OTC.That is Oawatona Tool Co.Their stuff is now expensive but you can shop various jobbers to find the best price. Also my outfit has factory supplied legs about 12 inches high and about eight sizes of sleeve adapter plates and also A 17 ton hollow ram hyd. cylinder. You sure dont need all that stuff unless you have a commercial shop.Years ago I made my own and you can too if you have a lathe or access to a machine shop.Just measure the inside and outside of bottom of sleeve.Have a machinistMachine you a plate to fit with just a slight less OD, have him machine a step in the plate to just fit the ID.Drill a 7/8 inch hole in center. Then have the upper bridge plate made out of 3/4" x 3" X 6" or 7" long flat steel bar.Drill 7/8" hole in the center and purchase a piece of all thread with two nuts and washers nd you are ready to go,to support the bridge plate all you then need is the spacers.

Probably 25 years ago we were farming a piece of land and the owner was talking to us oneday, he started showing us his old farmall a and some homemade equipment. He said I got a sleeve puller set for sale for a hundred dollars. It was a proto set and it was in a cardboard box and had all kinds of different size plates. My boss bought it and has lost over half of the set.
