I have a bookshelf I went to spray paint. It is to large to use cans and I was going to buy one of those hand held airless sprayers. Any info would be greatly appriciated.

if your not going to be using the sprayer that much its cheaper to rent one for the day but if you use alot spend the x-tra money and buy a good one say like a titan 440 they are very dependable and easy to clean

My hand held airless has a wood handle and hairs sticking out of the other end. Works good, lasts long time. LOL

I have an old Wagner that I have used for years, and for that type work it is very good.
