Does any one have any experince with the air compressor Homier.com sells. I was looking at the one 110 volt one (wish I could get 220 one but stuck with 110 now), 35 gallons. Never heard of Magnum before. Have bought some stuff at Homier and other places like it before, some good buys other things not that great. Thanks
JM

Doesn't look too bad. It's a Swan pump, made in China. They worked pretty well when we used to build up units with them. The 5hp rating is a big fat lie though. At 5.5CFM @ 90 psi it's more like 1 - 1.5hp. It should last well for home use, but don't expect to use any sanders, die grinders, or cut-off tools with it. For small stuff, I like the look of it. It's miles ahead of an oilless unit, and the price looks right. Just make sure it's enough compressor for what you want.
