Was outside Killen at the Melton Ranch since last Wed night. To many acorns for the deer to come within bow range.

Tween all of us there we got 2 sow hogs and 1 large boar. Had fun but was after deer meat.

Seen Austin TX Oliver Dealerships appears to have closed down. Was planning on stopping in but did not.

Y"all must run foam tires in TX due to prickly pear and mesquite?

Too bad you didn't have any luck--the acorn crop HAS been exceptional this year.

I think the Oliver dealership in Austin has been closed several years now. Not a lot of them around here anyhow.

A few people use foam tires, but most just fill them with stop leak of some sort. We certainly have more than enough mesquites, chaparrals, and cactus to go around.

Go to Fort Leonard MO at this army base they will let you have all the wild pigs you want , but you need a slug gun or bow no rifles allowed and best of all it's free .
