I bought my husband a Homelite ST-185 17" gas weed eater at a yard sale. We need to know what the fuel mixture is for this model. Also, do you know what kind of line it uses?

You can get homelite oil at home depot. It has gas stabilizer in it allready. I used it for years in all my two stoke with great results. 50 to 1 is what most new two strokes run on per EPA. If you want it to have long life more power
Use 40 to 1 or 32 to 1. Last time I needed to figure out string, I looked at my neibors string and decided on the next size down . I lucked out. Use premium gas in all two strokes!
