Just got back from a yard sale bargain for a Craftsman planer / jointer, mfd in 1974. Model 113.20651. Have found the Sears parts site. Anyone still have these old things and is it hard to align blades.? Did not come with owners manual.

I found this a Great Source!! in reply to Novanut, 10-02-2006 17:12:49
Mr. Novanut, me thanks you kindly for pointing out that site. I found a model of one digit off but it looks essentially similar. I can get the parts (I think) from the sears site, but the book, to me, is key. Thanks again.

Is this one of those little 4 inch jointers.
With a total length of about 2 feet.
Basically a table top model machine.

Negative, Mr. Pooh. (I've already got one of the benchtop styles - had it for a while, too -- like a 4" capacity, internal motor, etc. Works, but a bit dinky) Its NOT that one. This model's bed is over three feet long. The supporting platform legs are nearly four feet long. Since it was basically just me moving this at the yard sale, well, I had to take the machine off the legs and pivot it to back of the pickup truck and strap the support legs down beside it. A pulley on the 1/2 hp motor drives a belt to the jointer - which has three 6 1/8" blades. Cast iron bed and fence. It IS missing the blade guard and came with no manual. I just checked sears-parts and they indicate the manual is unavailable....

I had one of those little 4 inch tabletop jointers.
Sold it about 15 years ago. Got a bigger one.
A few days ago I ran across the manual for the 4 inch jointer.
Don't remember what I did with it. But I did see it.

Did you ever find the manual for that 4 inch Sears jointer? Sure would like to get a copy, happy to pay the postage.

Thanks,

Mark
