Building a 23 x 26 garage with 14' x 8' door with southfacing exposure ,I like the idea of lots of windows in the door ,but $$$$$ it's pricey and not sure if it's practical ,,any thoughts gents ????
I'll try and send better pictures next time ,,somehow last one got cut off ,,

My garage door has a row of windows across the very top that let in lots of light, but are high enough people can't see my tools etc. that are in it. also they cna't look in and see if my car is home. You might want to think aobut the security.

Based on my personal experience, I would never build with one 14 ft door. It is real pain to get decent spacing around 2 vehicles pulled into the single door. Much better would be 2 doors, of 8 to 9 ft wide each and 8 ft tall. You can leave a short wall, 2 to 4 ft, between the doors for good spacings. JMHO. Tom

What pictures?

Windows in a wall are a lot cheaper. Just an idea.
