The other thing that makes me very wary of this heater is that it is marketed by the Suarez Corporation in Canton, Ohio, near where I live. That company is well-known for misrepresenting their products, inferior merchandise, and is often in the news because they are being sued by somebody. I believe some states have sought to ban their newspaper advertisements.

I like to listen to Paul Harvey News but am frequently dismayed at his misleading, nearly fraudulent (in my opinion) commercials. I heard just today the ad for this "revolutionary new heater that can cut your heating bills in half". Sure, if you want to heat only one room in your house! Most, if not all portable electric heaters made to plug into a standard 120 volt outlet, including this one, are rated at 1500 or 1750 watts. So there's no way one can make much more heat than another. The one unusual feature of this one that I can see is that it is in some kind of enclosure so the claim is that the outside is cool enought that it is not a danger to children or pets. Is that worth the price of around $200? It depends on your application.

Just my 2 cents worth of venting.

Yeh, and doesn't Paul have a pair of 20+ year old Wells Lemont work gloves he just can't wear out. I get a little tired of his endorsements as well.

Well, he just doesn't know ya gotta use 'em to wear 'em out!!!

Give me a pair, I'll have a hole in 'em after 10-15 loads of hay. Sometimes 5 or less if they're cheap.
