For those of you who who have been reading my boring threads of air pressure regulators...I bought one from NAPA today. Fellow said it was $62.00. I kindly asked him if he could work on that price a little....He rather quickly got it down to $54.22 including tax. It does not have filter, but includes an external gauge. It has a brass valve and zink body. The cheaper ones had a bronze valve with plasitic body. Adjustable range is 5-150#. Max inlet pressure is 300#. Inlet and outlet ports are 1/4". That seems small when some are 3/4" inlet. But this one has 70cfm flow at 90psi; should be enough! I suppose this is all pretty academic as I don't see myself using a regulated line much in the future. For most purposes an in-line adjustment valve right before the tool is all I need. Enough with the boredom. I think I'd rather look at John Deere tractors than continue researching regulators!

You will be surprized at how much you will use it.Get one of those snap on air chucks, set the regulator to the pressure you want in tires.Attach the chuck to the tire stem and walk away. Its especially good for repairing truck tires. If the tire blows off the rim, you are not hovering over the weapon.
