Why would I keep blowing regulators on my air compressor? This is the second one. It's an old BM unit made in Cleveland and runs and pumps well. It kicks off at 125 psi just like it should. I usually keep the regulator at about 90 psi for most things I do. Lat week, I noticed the regulator guage was topped out around 130 and stuck. I shut down the air, tapped the guage and got it to drop. Now when I turn the air on to the regulator, it just blows out of the side underneath the knob, just like the first one did.
