I've got a Millermatic 200 wire feed welder I bought new 18 years ago. For various reasons I have not used it in over 17 years. (In fact, I never ran a full spool of wire through it.) I am now set up to use it again. It is like new! Just curious... Has wire feed technology changed much in that time? Do I still have a good welder? How much would a comperable welder cost today?
Thanks, Glenn F.

Glen, A new one will set you back around $1300.00,parts are easy to find. If there is any rust or dirt on the old spool scrape it and buy a new roll of wire and a new liner (they will rust on the inside) and drag on the wire. Then start welding.
