Gearwrench brand.

I'll send in my vote, for the GearWrench brand.

From what I've seen, the GearWrench wrenches are as compact, smooth-working, and strong as any of the competitors, many of which are fat, rough, and weak.

The GearWrench importer, Danaher's Hand Tool Division, does make two brands (Armstrong and Matco) in the US that seem to be about as good as the much-cheaper GearWrench wrenches, but the US made wrenches are harder to find.

Having said that, I would consider the SK "spline" version. Like the GearWrench, the SK spline wrenches are made in Taiwan but they use a splined broach that should hang onto a bolt head even better than the relieved-corner broaching that all of the major toolmakers are using today.
