Does anyone use Netscape web mail? If so, did you get a notice it was being transferred to AOL? The message said nothing would change and you could still use your name and pass word and still have a @netscape.net address. When I try to log in I get a message that username and pass word isn't correct.
I have checked everywhere I can think of and can't find out anything about what I can do to get all my old e-mail folders. I have used Netscape mail about 3 years and have been satisfied.
L.D.

I also have a Netscape email address that I use for some email and I can not log in either.

OK I got it. Go to Netscape.com and look on the right hand side of screen for link to your email. You will have to answer a couple of questions before you can log in.

You gotta re-register. It will give you the same Screenname, only the address for mail will be "[email protected]". All of your mail will now come up on as AOL(they own Netscape). PITA. When you compose a new message in the upper left hand corner of the new page will be your "new" screenname@ aim.com. Click on that and your old Screenname@ either "netscape.net", or "netscape.com" will drop down. You can then click on the old one and that is the "From" address that you message will reflect, not the new "@aim.com" address. Once again it is a PITA to figure out.

Forgot to put in previous post that some of the "new" features and "improvements" won't werk properly unless you are using the latest version of the Netscape browser(8.1) or AOL.

Well, I'm glad some one figgered it out. I guess I am to thick headed to get it done.

Where do you re register? Netscape or AOL? I tried at Netscape using my old info and it said name was wrong.

If someome would give me a little more step by step info, it will be appreciated.

It seems like the folks don't have anyplace I can e-mail them to try to get me going again.

L.D.

Go to Netscape.com and look on the right hand side of the page for the information. It allowed me to keep my same email address and password.

I went there and registered. I immediately got a message back that said I was only part through. It said I would get a confirmation e-mail at the e-mail I used in the questioner. Guess what, that is a catch 22. I can't sign to get it.
