OT: Corn Stoves

We're looking into a corn stove. Planning on putting it in our living room to supplement an air source heat pump when its really cold. we've narrowed it down to a Harmon (~$3K) or a CountrySide Magnum (~$2600) have also looked at the Bixby ($4k) and the Country Flame Harvestor (~$3300) but for the $ the Harmon has alot of features and seems to be a good unit. Are there any out there i should be considering yet? I like the stirrer in the burn pot, those clinkers can be a pain, and i can't imagine that they burn as efficiently as a stirred pot.

any thoughts out there?

Some Harmans have two burn pots. One in use and the other soaking for a week so it cleans up easy. Some Harmans stoves will also burn pellets a swell as grain. Stoker coal but they can't advertise that due to the EPA regs. For when the power goes out in a storm. No problem keeping the stoker going. UPS system prices are dirt cheap due to the home computer market.

Here is the straight scoop I or my brother have had them all did alot of experimenting to find the best. All I can tell you is we both have bixby's and I can tell you all the pros and cons of all the makes.Email me and I give you my # so we can talk.
