I was wonding how to take temper out of metal and put temper back into metal after welding and working with it, any info

Go to the library and get the book titled: Machinery's Handbook. It has a complete section on tempering by different methods. The book costs about $70-90, so I suggested the library first. I am sure they will have other books too. You may try using a search on tempering and see what comes up. Jus my thoughts. Ray,IN
