Pros and cons on these type pliers. Made by knipex (germany). Similar to slip joint channel locks, but has adjustment button in center to lock adjustment. thanks

I have a couple of pairs. I have been able to get out some stuff vise grips wouldn"t grip. I have kinda worn the jaws out in 1 set as I grab hardened stuff sometimes. I would for sure buy at least one set.

I used to use them all of the time at work. They grip better than any others I have tried but I quit buying them for work do to the fact that they disappear too much where as cheap junk never comes up missing.

I have a few pair of Knipex Cobras, and they are wonderful. The teeth on those things are pretty hard, so the can bite into just about anything. They're also relatively light weight, slim, and comfy... so you should be able to get them into tight places more easily.

The only other pliers that I like as much are my Facom pliers. Those are my all-time favorite.

I like them knipex pliers. I have the pliers in two sizes. The medium sized ones i use most . They have excellent grip on pipe , due to the shape of the jaws.
