lug nut size on Allis Chalmers

I am planning a trip to Iowa to bring back to my home my dad's original tractor. This is a 1938 Allis Chalmers WC The rear wheels have been stolen and I have found another set nearby but will need to remove them. Does anyone know the size of socket I will need to take with me to remove the replacement wheels. Any other suggestions???

Went to the shop after my first post- the studs are 5/8 inch diameter, on my '37 WC and 49 WF. But they mike different diameters by about 10-20 thou. Will take a 5/8 nut with 15/16 wrench, but the AC originals take a 1 inch wrench. Have run into slightly larger nuts that took larger, so bring a handful of sockets, plus the pipe wrench.

I think the studs are 3/4 inch diameter, but the problem is that a couple different size nuts are used on them- sometimes on the same tractor- like what Maark said for size, maybe even 1 1/8. Are the studs still on the tractor? Sometimes they unscrew when removing rusted nuts. If you're trailering, 2-3 are all you need per wheel to hold things together. Take along a pipe wrench or use double nuts to remove and reinstall studs where you need them.
