I have a milemarker 9000# Hyd winch on my trailer with quick connects so I can also mount it on the back or front of my truck.I have used it to its limit and beyond. Works great for me

Jas I have a milemaker 9000. Bought it a couple years ago. I abuse it somthun bad. I put a block on the rope (pulley on the cable) and winch rv trailers onto my gooseneck trailer. I have broke the brake in the winch, but tore it apart and the manufacture sent me the new parts no questions ask. For a normal user it would be great. I like mine and I'm far from gentle user.

Never used one, don't even own an electric winch, but I need one, so I have been researching them.. There is a big difference in the quality and capabilities between the cheap winches and the good one. The cheap ones will have 5/16" cable instead of 3/8", and the cheap ones will have a smaller, less horsepower motor. If you don't use but once or twice a year, the cheap one will probably work. If you will have use of it everyday, better go with the good one.
