hi, here's my question, I want to know is it safe to have your home stove located on the opposite side of the wall where an electrical panel is located? the wall is your standard 2x4 stud wall

A wood stove needs to have a thermal barrier to protect the wall, electrical panel or not. The wooden studs maybe fine for years but they get super dry in the heat and chemically change. Eventually you will have a wall fire start when the wood is well below normal ignition temp.

I cant say know what any of your local building codes may require, but if the panel itslef meets any NEC mounting requirements, I dont see much of a problem if on an opposite wall a stove is placed, provided it meets any space or clearance requirements itslef.

Panel cannot be in an clothes closet. It must have minimum clearances in front and above the front of it after installation. Those are the main restrictions.

If the stove has the approved heat shielding and exhaust(wood or pellet stove)I do not see why it would be a problem. If yopu are talking about a range it should be no problem either. It is imperative that the stove is installed properly.

If it is a range top, there is no problem. It will not generate enough heat to pose a problem.
