Boy I sure can pick "em. On vacation this week and it"s been raining since Friday with no letup in sight till mid-week, if then. So much for all my plans, fishing,yard work,fishing etc. I"m in Southeast Mass and we"re gettin" pounded good. Anybody got some plans to build an ark? Just needs to be big enough for me and the wife,two kids,and two dogs. By the time I get done it may be for just me and the dogs! LOL ;>) Jf

If you read my best seller in the book of Genesis I describe the layout of the ark built by Noah. Remember that a cubit is 18". Also feel free to use polyurethane instead of pitch for sealer. Also dont forget air freshener, Noah didnt have any it smelled worse then a horse barn.

Come to sunny northeast Texas. We"re in need of some of that rain. We"re in our second year of a drought(even though the weather forecasters on TV say we"re just abnormally dry.)

Hi John,

Where is SE Mass. are you? It's been raining hard and steady here in Central Mass (Shrewsbury) but nothing like I here alot of the costal areas are getting - especially NE and NH yesterday.

I have a small earthwork project going on in my yard - So that's what quick sand looks like!

Stay dry, or at least stay warm.

PS It being May, and you being in SE Mass. I would guess that you were plannig your vacation fishing time for stipper fishing? My sister-in law is a Canal fisherwoman. With the ban on live herring, she says they are doing well on cripple herring and rubber-body lead heads. For a few years, when my sister-in-law first moved to the Cape, May was a time of vacation days and Canal fishing for me too. Just have not found the time in the last few years.

Or do you do the wonderful trout ponds down there on the Cape and SE?

Either way, I hope your luck improves!

Hi Tim, I'm in Raynham, just a throw down 495 from you. We seemed to fare better than expected as the tail of the storm swung west and north of us but it's still plenty wet here. It's been a few years since I fished for stripers, now I just do some pond hopping for largemouth and pickerel. Take care and stay dry,Jf
