Any special considerations here, or proceed as I did with grader blade? (Which is working just fine, thanks.)

Or is there a better way to attach the teeth?

Instead of ruining a good general purpose bucket by welding teeth to it I found that I could buy a dirt bucket (with teeth) for about the same money as I could buy the teeth. I was pricing them at my local dealer and I believe that the teeth were to be between 350-400 dollars for the best ones and enough for my bucket a 773 Bobcat. I ended up buying a new bucket with teeth on it for approx. $500. My thought was then I had another bucket with no teeth when loading grain or cleaning. Maybe the prices are different or something in your area. Remember that you get what you pay for and some so called aftermarket teeth are pretty soft and wear out very quickly.
