I bought a M&W dynamometer several years ago at an auction and tested some of my equipment. I do not have any literature and have not been trained in its use. I simply turned the large hand wheel gradually until the guage read the maximum value and then repeated it several times to verify. The values on six different tractors were within a couple of hp's of the Nebraska tests. I would think that you might find a manual at a tractor meet flea market.

We called M&W Gear Company in Gibson IL. They were extremely helpful and are sending out the information on our dynamometer. Call 217-784-4261.
