Prebuy for propane?

I just got a bill from Ferrell gas saying that they want me to sign up for the prebuy and pay $1.59/gallon for propane now, the check is due on 4-21-06---I have never signed up for the prebuy before August. Has anybody else got this bill. I really dont want to pay it, Makes me want to get a corn stove.

I paid $1.59 last summer up in North Idaho. Last time I bought about a month ago, it was at $1.99. I don't see it getting much better in my area.

Have the same problem here. They"ve closed down a lot of offices here in MI.
I"m sure the price will go up with them again.

My mother called another gas company and they quoted .53 cent cheaper per Gal. than what Ferrellgas did.
I think there going to lost a few more customers
around here too!

como near duluth is gonna do their prebuy early this spring too.....Might be a way to sit on our money and collect the interest eh?

here in west central indiana, ferrell is losing customers right and left due to high prices. try $2.10 a gallon this past winter. there 3 lots arund here that i go buy are over flowing with tanks. one lot has a sigh out front that say tanks for sale. last winter i payed $1.16 for prepay, so i would not jump on it yet.

Thanks, the price is steep but $1.16 is great I may have change suppliers. I may get a corn stove. That $1.59 price makes me want to go out and cut down trees for firewood.
