Anyone have a Coleman corless drill? Saw one today at Costco for $38.00 with two batteries and charger. For that price it pays to purchase a new unit rather new batteries every 2-3 yrs. It had 2 speeds and 2 yr warranty ,18vdc.

Yep, my employer actually thought it would be a good idea to have a lightweight portable...I don't think it lasted a week.

Bought mine at Checkers Auto Supply $29.95 + tax. Everything went well until it fell off the Tailgate of the Pickup. "Shattered" the Chuck end all to pieces. My Dewalt and Ryobis have been dropped many times with no bad Injurys to them. The point is"don't drop the Coleman".

I bought one of these at a discount store and had to return it. The chuck would not even bind a bit into the drill. The internal components are made of cheap material (some kind of plastic to my untrained eye) and I do not believe, even if it had worked at first, that it would have stood up to any real usage. My idea was to have a little rig for the house but it couldn't even do that.

The Amazon reviews are not so good on this one. Looks like the battery charger and battery packs leave a lot to be desired. Also the chuck should be 1/2 inch rather than 3/8 inch.
