Hello everyone. I have an old oil torpedo heater (TSC Model 21 5025)that needs a new ignition transformer. I've been to WW Grainger and there isn't a cross reference for the part (Kenyon Electronics--5000 v. 20 m.a. end point ground) Any ideas? It belonged to my Dad, and as it's only about thirty seven years old, I'd like to get her running again. Also, if I melt the "tar" filling out of it, would I be able to rewire it? The secondary wire is cracked where it goes in the box-likely why it doesn't work. Thanks fellers, ChrisH(IA) P.S.-there's no TSC store in the area anymore

I have NOT dealt with them.

(I wouldn't think finding a replacement will be too tough. Just look for "single output ignition transformer, 5000 Volts, 20 MA").
