I'm looking for the 2" and 4" round ones that go inside the rubber grommets. I see some websites sell them for twice as much as other websites. What are some good brands? Grote, Maxxima?

Compare LEDs, Look closely, One 4"lamp assembly may have 9 LEDs in the housing, another 4" may have a couple dozen in the housing. Cheaper have fewer.

Look at the places that cater to the transportation industry and forget about hunting them down on the internet. They might be cheaper from one to the next but shipping might null the savings. I take it you're looking for the Grote 4" LED assembly for stop/turn lights? You might want to try some of the trailer repair shops for these along with maybe a school bus terminal as they have become very popular with commercial vehicles.

 Do LED's Last? in reply to hogman_2002, 03-31-2006 21:28:49
I did see a Harbor Freight sale sometime ago $15 4" w/gromett ring. I don't know who manufacturered. I been thinking putting some on the tractor, but haven't heard if they would hold up. I thinkin' I'd have to add a turn signal switch also. bjr

hi. there is also Peterson Manufacturing Co. Grote and Peterson both have web sites. Midwest Wheel also has a web site you could check. Wal-Mart sells some of the Peterson lights. the stores around me sell the oval led lights but not the round ones. another place that sells Pterson is Northern Tool, they have a web catolog. i can get any Peterson i want from local parts house,Arnold Motor Supply. if they don't have it they will order it. hpoe this helps. charley.
