Old tap and die set -- Little Giant

My grandfather died about 15 years ago at 87. Among his awesome collection of tools was this really cool tap and die set. It's a "Little Giant" by Greenfield Tap and Die Corp. On the side of the original wood box is "No. A1." It's complete, in great condition and has five cutting sizes 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4.
I've never threaded a pipe and do so little with tools. I know nothing about this kind of stuff. Could anybody give me more info on this? What should I do with it? Is it collectable?

I have a set very much like that . it was given to me by my late father, it has some very useful sizes in it when you are tinkering with odd stuff. My box is not as nice, years of use have told on it and the green felt liner, but I keep it for sentimental reasons as well as it's usefulness. Gene Davis

Keep it.They are not pipe taps.You may be glad you did.They dont make quality like that in the tool flyers you get in the mail.
