For the guys that were discussing the packs when some of the cells go bad....the reason some of them go bad is...they grow whiskers inside and it shorts them out and they won"t hold a charge very long. If you take a small capacitor and charge it up and let it discharge thru the cell until the cell reads two tenths of a volt (or more) then it can charge...if the cell is not used completely up. I built one from an old radio mag. years ago and have saved a lot of lives with it...it"ll spark a little when you touch the cap. to it, thats okay...you might have to do it several times...have fun...don"t use too big of a capacitor. Give it a try and let us know how you made out. Maybe one of those new pulse chargers would do it.....any comments? Fred OH

I've seen lots of whisker trimmers. Most were super low current.. but high voltage..

I've seen mixed results..
